While the Covid-19 outbreak lasts, we must distance ourselves from one another and prevent the spread of infection in order to save lives.
Therefore, as well as public worship being suspended, all church buildings in the Church of England are now closed.
Weddings and Baptisms cannot take place.
Funerals now only happen at the crematorium or at the graveside. Only immediate family members are permitted to attend, and only if the crematorium allows – that is, spouse or partner, parents and children, keeping their distance in the prescribed way. The Church of England’s has issued advice on what you can do if you are unable to attend a funeral: Sadness, grief and being there.
But we, the community of All Hallows and All Saints, are still here, and we can:
Pray for you. If you wish for a prayer to be said for you, please contact Barbara here and she will include your request on our Benefice Prayer Chain.
Inform you and keep in touch. Receive our weekly newsletter from Agnes by supplying your details on this form.
Uplift and entertain you. Receive a copy of the All Hallows and All Saints magazine from John. You can even have a go at writing an article for us.
And most importantly, care for you. If you would like to receive Rev’d Christine’s pastoral letters or have a friendly chat on the phone now and then with her or a member of our ministry team. Please complete this form.
